Here is a little information about my upcoming books! The first one, Heavenly Ink, is available HERE. Check out my other books and projects below, and feel free to check out the art gallery as well!
Heavenly Ink - Poetry & Art - GET IT HERE I often hear people say, "I don't like poetry" or "I don't really get poetry." But much like the music we listen to and the lyrics of a song that resonates within us, poetry can impact us in much the same way as our favorite song does. We are impacted when the words touch us personally - grabbing our hearts and inspiring our minds. Word provide inspiration, the same encouragement and hope that songs make us feel, like everything will be okay and we are not alone. Heavenly Ink is a compilation of 30 plus years of prose and poetry that were written throughout the seasons of my life. They include everything from world events, family, marriage, love, birth, friendship, parenting, pain, transition, death, and many other joys and challenges I have experienced. I hope you are inspired as you read them and that they resonate with your heart and soul as you seek to discover self, God, and the world around us.

LOVING & HATING CHURCH: Navigating Through the Cycles of Church Life - Coming in Fall 2018 Church can be a wonderful, encouraging, and inspiring place. It can also be a place of chaos as our brokenness and the church's brokenness collide. Who we are and what we've experienced, we bring it into the walls of this divine sanctuary. Depending on how healthy we are, it can determine the outcome for health or hurt.
Loving & Hating Church is my love story with God and church. I share my childhood beginnings with you as they play a huge part in how I approached church, and the expectations I had to meet a huge deficit in my life. A deficit of love, care, and community - the very words that church thrives on. It was the perfect storm - my desire to be loved, their desire for dedication and doers.
Each chapter will take you through the cycles of church life, and help you navigate through your spiritual season, with the potential to make you stronger, wiser, and clearer on what the goal ultimately is in our relationship with God and His church.
RANDOM OFFERINGS OF THE HEART - 2019 Life is complicated. It offers us the most joyous of occasions and the deepest of tragedies. Sometimes, it's just filled with the mundane and we push through. In this book, each inspired story shares the offerings of my heart to God, whether it's in the pain, the wanderings, or the joy. Whether it's my mother's cancer, or the birth of my children, there's a story to be told through the lens of my heart in that moment. This is what I offer up to God each day; my willing heart and the love I have for Him. Sometimes I fall short or miss the goal, but in my imperfections I can still offer up my random efforts of love and fellowship, with confidence, flowing from genuine grace. These stories will encourage you in your own journey as you relate to the desire to draw close to God and the realization dawns on you that He gladly receives our life offerings in light of His perfect love.
LET THERE BE REST DEVOTIONAL - 2019 As a high capacity achiever, I know what it is to strive, labor and chase life goals. I pride myself on being multi-gifted, multi-talented and capable of multi-tasking; doing the work of four people. This all sounds great and looks good on a resume, but eventually it leads to the train wreck in our lives. We may even see the wall ahead of us, but think we can do this, it's just one more little thing. Then, we do it, until we're burned out and become resentful for being used and unappreciated. We wrestle with our own exhaustion and the need to feel supported. We can become bitter, believing we don't matter and no one cares. In this season we must let go of all we idolize and think we need to take hold of a deeper rest for our souls, as we draw closer to God.
Let There Be Rest is a daily devotional that encourages us to rest in the midst of our crazy schedules. It invites us to be ministered to; soaking in the truths of what rest looks like, and how we can apply it to our current situation. It's a cup of refreshing cold water in a dry and weary land, and it bids us to dive in with reckless abandon by declaring, Let There Be Rest!
